Nave (the Company or us, we, and our), owns and operates certain websites (each, a Website) made available by the Company, and may in the future offer mobile applications (together, the Mobile Applications) made available through the Apple Store® or through Google Play.
We have created this privacy policy to demonstrate our commitment to the privacy of our visitors and customers. We will respect your privacy and recognize your need for protection and management of personally identifiable information you share with us (the phrases personally identifiable information and personal information mean any information by which you, individually, can be identified, such as your name, address, telephone number, etc.). The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you when you visit our Website or use the Mobile Applications (together with the Website, the Applications) of how we use such information, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to review and correct, your information.
By using our Applications, you consent to the practices identified in this Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by this reference with and into our Terms of Use. Your consent to our general data practices is obtained through your affirmative action of clicking “I Agree” or checking the consent box during account registration or application download, or by continuing to use the Applications after being presented with this Privacy Policy.
A Special Notice about Children
The Applications are not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children. By using, downloading, or installing the Applications, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and that you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from persons under 13 years old, no part of our services are directed to persons under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, please do not use or access the Applications or our services at any time or in any manner. If we learn that personally identifiable information of persons less than 13 years old has been collected without verifiable parental consent, then we will take appropriate steps to delete this information.
General
In general, you may use many aspects of the Applications without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. We may collect information from or about the devices where you access or install our Applications, depending on the permissions you've granted. We may associate the information we collect from your different devices, which helps us provide consistent services to you across your devices. Here are some examples of the device-specific information we may collect:
- Attributes such as the operating system, hardware version, device settings, file and software names and types, battery and signal strength, and device identifiers;
- Device locations, including specific geographic locations, such as through GPS, Bluetooth, or WiFi signals;
- Connection information such as the name of your mobile operator or ISP, browser type, language and time zone, mobile phone number and IP address; or
- We may track the Internet domain address from which you visit or use the Applications and analyze this data for trends and statistics, but individual users will remain anonymous unless they voluntarily tell us who they are.
Pages of the Mobile Applications and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related app statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain app content and verifying system and server integrity).
Sometimes (such as when you create a submission, subscribe to a service, register to receive email updates, newsletters, participate in calls for submission or promotions, or view videos) we will ask you to provide personal information about yourself, such as your name, billing addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card information, birth date, or personal interests. We may also maintain a record of your purchases. Whether you choose to provide the information we request is entirely up to you. But if you choose not to provide the information we request, you may be unable to access certain services, calls for submission, offers, content, and functionality on the Applications.

We are committed to resolving complaints in a timely and effective manner. Upon receiving your complaint, we will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and work to provide a resolution within 30 days.
Dispute Resolution Process
Our complaint resolution process includes the following steps: (1) Initial Review: Our Privacy Officer will conduct an internal review of your complaint and the relevant personal data handling practices; (2) Resolution: We will provide you with a written response outlining our findings and any corrective actions taken; (3) Escalation: If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may request escalation to our senior management for further review; (4) External Mediation: If the dispute remains unresolved after our internal processes, either party may pursue mediation through a mutually agreed-upon neutral third party; and (5) Arbitration: If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in Denver, Colorado, and governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. You also retain the right to lodge a complaint with your applicable data protection authority or regulatory body at any time during or after this process.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to purchase content through our store or subscribe for features available through our Applications, our third-party service provider may store your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council (the organization responsible for managing PCI-DSS), which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by us and our service providers.
Your personal information allows us to provide you with the information you have requested, provide you with information regarding the status of your assets and transactions, fulfill your purchases, and provide you with information regarding future products and services that may suit your interests. We may also use your personal information to help us or a third party identify you if you lose your password and to help you quickly find information on a Website. If you believe that any of your personal information is incorrect, or has been changed since your registration at a Website, please send an e-mail message to hello@joinnave.com explaining the correction or change and provide any relevant confirmation or reference number.
Cookies
The Applications may use cookie technology to improve the quality of your experience. A cookie is a small file that contains information that is saved on the storage of your device by your device's browser. Cookies store information that an application may need in order to personalize your experience and gather website statistical data. Any time you use the Applications, we collect and store the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet (for example, comcast.com, centurylink.com, etc.); the Internet protocol (IP) address of the device you are using; the browser software you use and your operating system; the date and time you access the Applications; and, with respect to the Website, the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to the Website. We use this information to measure the number of visitors to areas of the Applications, and to help us make the Applications more useful and interesting to our visitors. Some consumers may not know that cookies are being placed on their devices when they visit websites or use mobile applications. If you want to know when this happens, or to prevent it from happening, you can set your browser to advise you when a website attempts to place a cookie on your computer.
Do We Share Your Information?
We may share your personal information with our partners and with third-party independent contractors for: (1) performing functions on behalf of Company, such as processing credit card transactions and managing shipments; (2) providing you with product offers or survey requests via e-mail; and (3) tracking information generated through the Websites. Our partners and third-party independent contractors are obligated contractually not to use or share your personal information for unauthorized purposes. Your Choices About Our Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Your Information
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. This section describes mechanisms we provide for you to control certain uses and disclosures of your information.
- Tracking Technologies. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies or block the use of other tracking technologies, some parts of the Applications may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
- Location Information. You can choose whether or not to allow the Applications to collect and use real-time information about your device's location through the device's privacy settings. If you block the use of location information, some parts of the Applications may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
- Promotion by the Company. If you do not want us to use your email address to promote our own or third parties' products or services, you can opt-out by sending us an email to hello@joinnave.com.
We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), a self-regulatory organization for online advertising, on the NAI's website.
Your State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information under applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA). These rights may include the right to: (1) know what personal information we collect and how it is used and shared; (2) access, correct, or delete your personal information; (3) obtain a portable copy of your personal information in a readily usable format (data portability); (4) opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects; and (5) non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. Third-Party Services
Google Analytics (Google Inc.)
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. Google uses collected data to track and examine the use of our Website(s), to prepare reports on its activities, and share them with other Google services. Google may use the data it collects to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. We may receive information about you and your activities on and off our Website from Google.
We also use PostHog, a product analytics service provided by PostHog, Inc., to analyze how users interact with our Applications. PostHog may collect usage data and event information in accordance with its privacy policy.
We use Clerk, Inc. to provide authentication and OAuth services, including account login and identity verification. Clerk may collect and process authentication data in accordance with its privacy policy.

Cloud Services
We may store content you disclose to us on virtual servers owned by third parties, including but not limited to Supabase, Inc. (Postgres), Sanity AS, and Upstash, Inc. (each, a Cloud Service Provider). A Cloud Service Provider may access or process data disclosed by you solely as necessary to provide cloud storage and hosting services to us, and subject to the terms of service or privacy policies of such Cloud Service Providers.

Website Hosting
We use Vercel to host and serve our Website. Vercel may collect data related to the performance and usage of its hosting infrastructure. We may receive information about your activities on our Website from Vercel.
E-Commerce
We may disclose data you provide to us to providers of software we use to complete commercial transactions on our Website and in other services, including Stripe, Inc. and, where applicable, Network Merchants, LLC (NMI), as payment processors. These processors handle your payment information subject to their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS standards.
Email Marketing
Twilio and Resend are services we use to send marketing and transactional communications. We may share your name and email address with Twilio, Inc. and Resend, Inc. when using their services to communicate with you about our products and services.
Links to Other Materials
Our Websites contain links to other sites. These links accommodate the respective third-party site owners and are for your convenience. Sites linked to and from a Website are not necessarily under the control of Company, and Company shall have no responsibility or liability for the content or privacy practices of any linked sites, or any link or linking program, at any time. You should read and understand Company's policies regarding such third-party links, as stated in the Terms of Use.
Security
Our Websites have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.
Do Not Track
The Company does not track its customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. However, some third-party sites do keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you. If you are visiting such sites, you may be able to set the DNT signal on your browser so third parties (particularly advertisers) know you do not want to be tracked.
Effective Date and Changes
This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date set forth above. The Company reserves the right to modify the terms of this Privacy Policy at any time and in its sole discretion. We will provide advance notice of material changes to this Privacy Policy by posting a notice on this page and, where required by law or where feasible, by notifying you directly (e.g., via email). Your continued use of a Website following the effective date of any such changes will constitute binding acceptance of those changes, except that any changes that expand our collection or use of sensitive personal information will require your separate explicit consent as described in this Privacy Policy.
